4 Megapixel Digital Camera Review
MINOLTA DIMAGE F100 - Excellent Excellent Excellent - This is exellent well designed and fuctional camera. I researched thoroughly before investing in this piece of art. This is a must for a serious buyer. It delivers all that it promises. The CR-V3 battery is the only disappointment, but Minolta tech support will make it alright for you. - Go Now!
CANON POWERSHOT S40 - Best consumer Digicam Ever - This is my 3rd digital camera and by far the best. Its compact and relatively lightweight. It has good "hand feel", but by far the most important aspect is that it takes breathtakingly real images. You'll need to buy a larger memory card and I'd also recommend a spare battery, but for digital photography enthusiasts, it just doesn't get any better than this. - Go Now!
CANON POWERSHOT S45 - My Best Purchase Ever - I love this camera. It's my 1st digital still camera and I couldn't be happier. I use it for work and for the family. I upgraded to a 256MB flash and havn't come close to filling it up (even at the highest res jpeg). The editing software that it comes with is nice as well. I paid $499 at the GoodGuys. Out the door it cost me around $740 (carrying case, 256MB compact flash, and camera of course). Still want an extra battery ($60). If you are planning to use it on a long vacation, with no way to upload your pics, you may want to have some spare flash memory (640x480 on 256MB will give you 1000+ pix). - Go Now!
CANON POWERSHOT G3 - This Camera Is The Incredible - It's loaded with all the features a skill amateur could ever wish far. It's the closest thing to perfection for a 4Mp. Between 4-5Mp , I don't think I can tell the difference. The flash before the snap shot will create a clear picture in the dark is one of it's great features. I can't go into more detail except to say this is an top class camera for it's group.Go Now!
CANON POWERSHOT G2 - All You Could Want And More - Impressive list of features, the learning curve is not too steep for the beginner photographer. Picture quality is unbeatable. Canon has done a wonderful job here! - Go Now!
LEICA DIGILUX 1 - A DC with Quick Response - Easy to control. Quick response after my finger press the shutter. Good picture quality. - Go Now!
OLYMPUS CAMEDIA D-40 ZOOM - Satisfied - The D-40 has many features packed into a tiny frame. Digital camera technology as a whole needs some improvement, but this camera is as good as it gets. The only drawback is that it's slow to recharge for the next picture. However, picture quality, framing, lighting are better than I expected. I'm glad I spent a little extra to get one of the best cameras in it's category. - Go Now!
MINOLTA DIMAGE S404 - Great Features And Quality For The Price - Ever since I bought this camera I've been very impressed with the quality of the images and it's versatility to take photos in varrying conditions. The only drawback is the length of time the batteries last on a charge. - Go Now!
OLYMPUS CAMEDIA C-4000 ZOOM - Absolutely Love It - An easy to learn point-and-shoot, but also much more advanced features for when you are ready to use them. A digital camera to grow with. - Go Now!
NIKON COOLPIX 4500 - Simply Outstanding - The amount of features on this camera is incredible and will not dissapoint. The sepia mode is a great addition. Both colour and lens are sharp, although I did find the wide angle lens producing even sharper images. I'm telling you now you will become an addict when you use this camera. - Go Now!
SONY CYBER SHOT DSC-P9 - Nice Digital Camera - Before buying this camera I had purchased an HP 812. To make a long story short, returned that and paid an extra $100 and bought the cybershot. Nifty camera, small, easy to use, great quality, nice features. I can not say that I am a digital camera expert but I have used some in the past. The one mentioned up above and an Olympus camera. The down fall is that the price may be a little steep but when you compare the size, quality, and features it is a small price to pay. I defiently would recommend this camera if you travel and are a casual photographer. - Go Now!
